The room keeps three shelves. Each one exists because readers kept arriving with the same kind of confusion, and each one is weeded on a fixed schedule.
The glossary shelf
Roughly three hundred terms, each on a card that passed Mira's rule: explainable to a careful beginner without leaning on another undefined term. Accounts, rent, slots, epochs, lamports, program-derived addresses — the cards readers collide with in their first month sit at the front of the drawer.
If a term you need isn't on the shelf, write to the glossary desk through the contact page. Reader requests set the order in which new cards are drafted.
Long reads & guides
Patient, sequential writing for readers who want the whole arc rather than a fragment: how Solana's account model actually behaves, what happens to a transaction between your wallet and finality, how programs are deployed and upgraded. Each guide is read aloud at the long table before it is shelved, and re-read whenever the underlying protocol changes.
The deep dives
Long-form investigations into single questions: how a specific DeFi protocol handles liquidation, what validator economics look like across an epoch, how a much-discussed outage actually unfolded. Deep dives take weeks to produce and name their own limits on the first page — what they simplify, what they omit, and when the research closed.
How borrowing works
Most of the collection circulates freely to readers who write in and tell us what they're working on. Reading path participants receive their bundles as part of the program. Commissioned deep-dive briefings are written for one client at a time and stay private to that client for six months before a public version joins the shelf.
